I was having what sounds like the same issue and have been troubleshooting.įor some reason the worldbuilder was getting stuck with Nvidia's latest drivers. Soo this has taken a bit of digging into. I am running windows 10 but it was fine until the British update. Oh I have also tried running the program in compatibility mode for all OS as well. So if anybody has any ideas I'm all ears please help. I have even gone to lengths to delete windows updates to see if it was one of those as coh1 had an issue with a certain update but no it was not those either. I have tried uninstalling the game and deleting all ass files then running virus scan and cc scan then malware scan then a reboot reinstalling game but same result. Since the new update of the British army my world builder is not working properly I load my map just start to make changes then it just freezes up I cant do anything It wont let me close the program down or minimize it so I have to reboot. I know that Coh2 is install in 2 places in you computer, the Steam folder and the COH2 folder under my game folder, the steam folder is where you work on your map though worldbuilder and the COH2 folder is where the subscription map are to be found, but only as a number. Now my question is following, can I some how get the map downloaded from steam? I have other backup maps, but they a 1 month older then the one uploaded and thus missing a lot of the details from the final map, and as I can not remember what those changen are, I would like to get the final map back. but as I am missing a background loading picture I need it back to work on it.īut at some point in history I have reinstalled COH2 and in the progress deleted the final map.
